Cheetahs

Cheetahs are the fastest land animal. Cheetahs can run up to 70-75 miles per hour. Cheetahs can run up to 68 miles per hour in 2 seconds. Cheetahs are carnivores which means they only eat meat. Cheetahs do not climb trees so they have to eat their food very fast so other animals won't eat it. Cheetahs can live live up to 12 years in the wild and 20 years in captivity. Female cheetahs are considered to be adults when they are 20-24 months of age. Males are considered to be adults when they are around 12 months of age. When cubs are born they weigh about 5.3-11 oz at birth. Cubs leave their mother's when they are about 13-20 months of age. Cheetahs eat gazelle, springbok, and impala. Cheetahs live mostly in Africa and many other places with just about a handful left in each of those places. South Western Asia only has about 100-150 cheetahs left. Cheetahs are endangered animals.  cheetah
