There are lots of different types of candy.  M&M are milk chocolate covered in a hard candy coating. They have a "M&M" printed on them. Candy is popular in many countries especially for kids. M&M's are made by the Mars company. The name candy comes from Arabic Qandi meaning sugar. Some candy include, marshmallows, 3 muskteers,  twix, M&M's, taffies, hershey bars, candybars, lolly pops (suckers), skittles, cotton candy, caramel, toffie, fudge, gumdrdops, jelly-beans and gummy bears. Some of those candy's may contian gleatin. Candy has sugar and sugar can do some damage to your teeth, but it is not the sugar that damages your teeth. It is really the types of bacteria that can be found in your candy that destroy your teeth.  Candy is popular in the U.S and many other countries.  Several types of candy exist in the world.  Candy has many things inside them. Another type of candy, boiled sugar, which is flavored candy on a stick, also known as  rock candy.There is 1000's of different types of candy.Any type of candy is a very popular sweet .In 1854 the first box of the white mans chocolate was invented.  In 1905 the fist peanut butter bar called a squirrel nut zipper. In 1906 the first hershey milk chocolate kisses was put out to the public. Also, in 1992 dove dark chocolate was put out to the public. In 1994 starburst jelly beans were made at the m&m company. Did you know that there is ten different colors of gummy bears? Candy companies can make pesonalized M&M's or other candies for weddings and birthdays.  All candy has sugar in it .  Easter eggs are a popular candy around easter time people put them in fake easter eggs and hid them around their house.  some easter eggs are small and some are big.  The bigger they are the more candy the eggs can hold.  most people think candy tastes good but some either don't like it or they can't eat it.  The M&M company makes alot of different types of candy. Their candy is very popular. Some of the most poupluar candy is hershey choclate bars.
