Baseball

In the United States Pro baseball players go to the Major League. There are four levels of baseball, little league, travel, minor league, and major league. In little league and travel, metal bats are used, but in minor and major leagues, players use wooden bats. On a baseball field, there are 4 bases that form a diamond, beyond the bases is the outfield, which ends with a fence normally about 6 feet tall. If the batter hits the ball over the fence, it is a home run. When a runner crosses home plate, they score a run for their team. Baseball is the leading team sport in Japan and Cuba. By 1857, 16 area clubs formed the National Association of Baseball Players. Also, if the batter hits the ball, they're referred to as the batter-runner until the play ends. A walk (4 balls) is also known as a base on balls. If the batter bunts with 2 strikes and the ball goes foul, the batter is still out.
